Flex Front Cover

This is the final of my music magazine front cover, from my plan to this i have changed to make it a more realistic magazine. On my plan the front cover was meant to have a girl who is wearing a hat, because on all the magazines which i researched there was a guy on the front cover wearing a hat so i thought i would put a twist to it, and so this would make it look like a mixed gender music magazine. But as you can see from this image, she isn't wearing hat. Also another thing with the image it was meant to have been another girl, and the girl which i originally was going to used i matched a name for her which is original, but we could never find time. So then i have this girl but i thought instead of going through all this complication of choosing another name i thought it would be easier to use the name i had already.

This is my second research for a double page spread. This is quite simialr to how i want my double page spread to look like this.

It isn't too in your face or busy it is nice yet simple.

This is the contents page of my music magazine. It is a qutite simple contents page. I got the idea of the layout from my reasearch of the contents page.

Flex Music Magazine Front Cover (mock up)

This is my music magazine frot cover, the name of the magazine is called 'Flex'. It's called Flex because as a teenager I use the slang, and flex is a slang for style or working it. So this music magazine straight could tell you by the title that it's audience is aimed for teenagers, both boys and girls.

On the front cover it has a puk which would attract readers more because there is something free inside the ree thing is a poster of a R 'n' B artist named Drake.Also the straplines are there to attract the readers, this is because it mentions some well known artists sch as Nicki Minaj, Alesha Dixon and Drake, it also has some real life stories such as a drugs, alcohol and sex. The kicker is quite catchy this is because it ryhmes with X-Factor which is a well known singing competition. As the ord flex ryhmes with x i thought i would mess around with the words, i thought that it would match the magazine as it is a music magazine.The colour scheme for the magazine is black and gold.

The main image is of a a girl whos name is Saba.Originally it was going to be of a girl called Inderdeep, but we both couldnt find time. To make it more R 'n' B sounding i changed her name to In-Dee. And inside there would be an exclusive interveiw with her. This interveiw would  be on a duoble page spread, which i will annotate later. I got the idea of a girl wearing a cap from my research which is from the magazine called ' The Source' but I am going to do it with a girl on the front to make it more noticeable that it is a unisex music magazine.
